Bonjour,
Apologies for the English post. I recently moved to France and my French is still coming along. I am a writer-director from Los Angeles, now living in Paris. I have a television series (8x30 drama-comedy) called Chouchou de la semaine that tells the story of a yéyé girl in 1960s Paris. I pitched it at Series Mania in March and have a producer on board! They are ready to formally make a development deal, but we both agree we need a more experienced French writer to join me as co-writer/creator, seeing as how I'm not French and have never made a series before. I am looking for a woman, considering the themes of the show and subject matter, and someone who has had a show produced here previously. I'm hoping here at SACD is a good place to make such a connection? If you meet the criteria and are interested, I'd love to find a time to meet for a coffee and I can tell you more about it.
